Still causing havoc around the house. Loves to be outdoors, loves Lucy, his toy cars, and watching movies. In fact, he has watched the movie "Cars" so many times that he now sings to it, and can even recite certain parts, such as "Go Go Go- uh!" We don't even own the movie, but I have a feeling that a certain jolly fellow might bring it to him for Christmas! He has also learned to remove his diaper and use his crib as a toilet in order to get out of naptime. He loves to sing "Wheels on the Bus" and "Old Macdonald". He cries every night to go to soccer with "da-da"!
Rian
Still our little princess. Loves her down time, her dog, her many Webkinz animals, computer time, board games and even school! She is doing so well in 1st grade. I haven't seen a test that she hasn't gotten at least 101% on. She is reading so well, her teacher has even asked if we would give them permission to have her read to the Kindergarten classes. And to her dads extreme pleasure, just this week she has decided to take soccer back up. Only one week of practice and she is learning so much, catching up quickly and surprising us all!
Dakota
What an amazing little girl! She is loving school, reading, friends, also her Webkinz, constantly a help to me, and a great example to her little sister. She pops up in the morning, does everything she needs to without being told and is off for the day. She too, has aced every test in school and is well above average in reading and math. She was named "Student of the Month" for November. She has improved so much in soccer, training 4 nights a week with Dave as her skills coach. She can do things that just amaze me!
Lucy
What can I say??? Depending on who you ask, she's either the greatest thing that has ever happened to us, or the worst. I'm right in the middle, she's okay. She actually went into heat the week before her scheduled spay surgery. This was only a problem until we realized that Jack's diapers worked pretty well. She kept them on, and to be honest, it looked freakin cute! She did well with the surgery and has completely recovered. She still hates Dave, but I do believe she is getting a little better with him. She has learned how to dodge Jack and still is quite the snuggler.
Thanksgiving
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with Dave's family. It was quiet, fun and delicious! The kids are always so excited to go to grandma and papa C's house. This visit was especially thrilling because the girls got to ride on papa's motorcycle for the first time! Of course, being the overprotective and nervous parents that we are, they were only allowed to go in circles around the cul-de-sac! Still, they had a blast! Thanks, papa!
