First day of school...
Today was the first day of school for my kids. It's an especially big day for them because we have moved them from the charter school that they have attended and loved for the past 2 years back to Barbara Robey Elementary. Although we will definitely miss Carden and the girls are sad to not be in class with their cousins, we decided that this was a move that would be good for our family. Both of the girls have wonderful teachers that I couldn't be more pleased with! We were extremely lucky to get the teachers that we requested, so that Dakota could be in class with one of her best friends, Willow, and Rian with her good friend Brady, who she went to Kindergarten with. I know that this was an answer to my prayers, the transition would not have been possible otherwise! Both Dakota and Rian woke up excited and ready to go today, I am very proud of them. Here's to a great year girls!

I always LOVED the first day of school. The girls look so adorable...which is totally the only point of the first day.
I didn't even know you were considering a change of schools. Send me and email...I'm curious why you changed.
I can tell you Bree in two words...gasoline and driving!!!
The girls look so cute and grown up. I'm glad everything has worked out and gone so smoothly.
You girls look adorable! Good luck, I'm sure your first day was great. Can't wait to hear about it!
And I thought our district was starting school early! Cole starts on the 14th. He and his Mom are both somewhat distraught at the thought of going to school from 9am to 4pm. Hopefully the additional recesses and lunch break will take the edge off.
4 o'clock is late, but the hours away are about the same. My kids leave on the bus at 7:20 and get home just a couple minutes to 3. It's a nice, long day for me!!!
What the heck...I clearly remember mercury mine going from 9-3. I feel bad for these kids.
Me too!!! My poor little babies...
Don't you just *LOVE* having them back in school?! My little natives were getting restless so I was happy to kick them out!! The girlies look adorable :) Can't wait to hear about how things are going at BRE!
I bet that is alot easier having them at a school close by. They look so cute. Dakota has changed so much.
So you went ahead and did it! I bet that you will like it this time around. It does make for a long day, with the bus ride, but going to school functions will be so much easier.
We need to go out sometime. Let us know when you guys are available.
i love your new layout!!
